Kusshi Sushi, a longtime hit at Pike & Rose, is heading to Rockville Town Square. Owner Wesley Yao is aiming for an April opening at the former home of Sushi Damo, which closed last fall after 16 years in business. Yao says the Rockville menu will be similar to his Pike & Rose location — with the addition of a few new “elevated dishes.” The entrepreneur, who opened his first Kusshi in 2018, has since added two more in Northern Virginia and one in Silver Spring. His longtime Bethesda restaurant, Hanaro, is also being rebranded as a Kusshi Sushi.
